Ingredients

    Cookie

  1. 2 T instant espresso coffee powder
  2. 1 T hot water
  3. 1 1/2 c butter, softened
  4. 1 c sugar
  5. 1 t baking powder
  6. 1/4 tsalt
  7. 1egg
  8. 1 t vanilla
  9. 3 1/2 c flour
  10. Edible gold glitter, fine sugar, luster dust, and/or instant espresso coffee powder
  11. Coffee Cream Icing

  12. 1/2 c butter, sofftened
  13. 1 ( 7 oz) jar marshmallow creme
  14. 1/2 t vanilla
  15. 2 T unsweetened cocoa powder
  16. 1 T instant espresso coffee powder
  17. 1/2 c powdered sugar
  18. 1 -2 T milk

Instructions

    Cookie

  1. In a small bowl stir together espresso powder and 1 T hot water. Set aside.
  2. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  3. In a large bowl beat butter with a mixer on medium to high 30 seconds.
  4. Add sugar, baking powder, and 1/4 tsp. salt. Beat until combined, scraping bowl as needed.
  5. Beat in egg, vanilla, and espresso mixture.
  6. Beat in flour until thoroughly combined.
  7. Roll dough into 1 inch balls and place on an ungreased baking sheet.
  8. Bake 6 minutes or until edges are firm.
  9. Let cool on a wire rack.
  10. Dip tops in or spread with Coffee Cream Icing; sprinkle as desired with glitter, sugar, luster dust, and/or instant espresso coffee powder.

  12. In a large bowl beat butter with a mixer on medium 30 seconds.
  13. Beat in marshmallow creme and vanilla just until combined.
  14. Beat in cocoa powder and instant espresso coffee powder.
  15. Beat in powdered sugar and enough milk to make dippable.
