Boiled Corn

Ingredients

  1. 6 to 8 ears corn, hushed and silk removed
  2. unsalted butter, softened (optional)
  3. salt (optional)
  4. pepper (optional)

Instructions

  1. Bring 4 quarts water to boil in a large pot.
  2. Turn off heat, add corn to water, cover, and let stand for at lest 10 minutes or up to 30 minutes.
  3. If cooking 8 ears, let corn sit for at least 15 minutes.
