Swiss Artichoke Puffs

Ingredients

  1. 1 loaf dark cocktail rye bread
  2. 3/4 c mayonnaise
  3. 1/3 c Parmesan cheese, grated
  4. 1 t parsley, chopped
  5. 1/4 t onion powder
  6. 1/4 t Worcestershire sauce
  7. 1 (14 oz) can artichoke hearts in brine, finely chopped
  8. Swiss cheese, thinly sliced and cut to fit top of bread

Instructions

  1. Toast bread.
  2. Combine mayonnaise and Parmesan cheese. Add parsley, onion powder, artichokes, and Worcestershire sauce.
  3. Spread mixture on toasted bread.
  4. Cover with piece of Swiss cheese.
  5. Arrange on baking sheet and broil until cheese melts and is lightly browned.
