Zingarelli's Meatballs

    This is the famous Zingarelli recipe that was used for the Vincentian Theatre Booster's fundraising dinner.

Ingredients

  1. 1 lb ground beef
  2. 1 lb ground pork
  3. 1 lb ground veal
  4. 1 1/2 c Romano cheese, grated
  5. 3 slightly beaten eggs
  6. 2 c Italian breadcrumbs
  7. 1 1/2 c milk
  8. 4 T garlic, minced
  9. 2 t salt (can use less)
  10. 3 t black pepper
  11. 2 t dried oregano
  12. 3 T dried parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Mix all ingredients in a large bowl.
  3. Shape the mixture into medium-sized meatballs and place on baking trays.
  4. Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes.
  5. Meatballs can be placed in freezer bags and frozen until needed.
