Tropical Rum Slush

  1. 1 ripe mango
  2. 1 (12 oz) frozen pineapple (or orange) juice concentrate, slightly thawed
  3. 3 c tropical fruit drink with guava juice, chilled
  4. 1 c light rum
  5. 2 liters ginger ale, chilled


  1. Place mango in blender container; process until smooth.
  2. Add pineapple concentrate; blend until smooth.
  3. Pour into plastic container or gallon-sized ziplock bag.
  4. Stir in fruit drink and rum; blend well.
  5. Freeze 6 to 8 hours or until firm, stirring once or twice.
  6. Remove from freezer 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
  7. For each serving, scoop 1/2 c slush into 8 oz serving glass; stir in about 1/2 c ginger ale.
