Cherry Cobbler

Ingredients
- 1 c butter, softened
- 1 1/2 c sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 c flour
- 1 t baking powder
- 1 T lemon extract
- 1 (20 oz) can cherry pie filling
- vanilla ice cream for serving (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking dish, set aside.
- Cream butter and sugar at medium speed, until fluffy.
- Add eggs, one at a time.
- Add lemon extract.
- Combine flour and baking powder and stir into egg mixture.
- Spread into the prepared baking pan.
- Spoon on, cherry pie filling.
- Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes.
- Cool slightly and serve with vanilla ice cream, if desired.
