San Marzano Pizza Sauce

    If making a different size batch, use the ratio of 100 g of tomatoes to 1 g of salt.

    Sauce can be made 24 hours in advance to allow flavors to combine.


  1. (28 oz) can of San Marzano tomatoes
  2. 8 g salt
  3. handful of fresh basil leaves
  4. 1 T olive oil


  1. Place tomatoes in a bowl, using hands, coarsley crush the tomatoes.
  2. Add salt, basil, and olive oil, stir to combine.
