Baked Okra

  1. 2 (12 oz) bags frozen sliced okra
  2. 3/4 t salt
  3. 1/2 t turmeric
  4. 1/8-1/4 t cayenne pepper
  5. 1/8 t cracked black pepper
  6. 2 T olive oil


  1. Preheat oven to 450°F.
  2. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. In a large bowl, add frozen sliced okra, olive oil, salt, turmeric, cayenne, and pepper. Stir until okra is fully coated.
  4. Bake for 15 minutes, and using a spatula, flip over okra slices to evenly brown both sides.
  5. Continue baking for an additional 15 minutes or until okra has reached desired crunchy texture.
