Bacon Chestnut Rolls

Ingredients

  1. 3/4 c ketchup
  2. 34 c brown sugar
  3. 1 lb bacon
  4. 2 (8 oz) cans whole water chestnuts, drained
  5. toothpicks

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Cut bacon slices into 1/3rds.
  3. Wrap 1/3 bacon slice around each water chestnut and secure with a toothpick. Place chestnuts in a shallow baking pan.
  4. In small bowl combine ketchup and brown sugar, stir to combine. Set aside.
  5. Bake chestnuts for 30 minutes.
  6. Remove from oven and spoon the sauce over the chestnuts.
  7. Bake for an additonal 30 minutes.
