Lavender Simple Syrup

Ingredients

  1. 1 c water
  2. 1 c sugar
  3. 1 T dried lavender blossoms

Instructions

  1. Combine water, sugar, and lavender blossoms in a small saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil, stirring until sugar dissolves.
  3. Simmer for 1 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and let syrup steep about 30 minutes.
  5. Pour syrup into a glass jar through a mesh strainer to remove blossoms; let cool.
  6. Refrigerate until serving.
