Bourbon Glazed Shrimp

  1. bamboo skewers
  2. 1/2 c Maker's Mark Bourbon
  3. 1/2 c soy sauce, reduced sodium
  4. 1/2 c ketchup
  5. 1 c brown sugar
  6. 1 t garlic powder
  7. 1 1/2 lbs shrimp, peeled and deviened, rinsed and patted dry


  1. Soat bamboo skewers in water for 30 minutes.
  2. Skewer shrimp onto bamboo skewers.
  3. Combine bourbon, soy suace, ketchup, brown sugar, and garlic powder. Simmer until slightly thickened, about 5 minutes. Cool slightly.
  4. Brush both sides of shrimp with marinade.
  5. Grill or broil until cooked.
