Easter Bunny Cake

    This is festive cake for Easter or spring!


  1. 1 (18.25 oz) pkg yellow cake mix
  2. ingredients needed to make cake
  3. 1 (16 oz) pkg vanilla frosting

  4. flaked coconut
  5. candy, licorice and nuts for decorating
  6. food coloring, if desired


  1. Preheat oven to desired temperature.
  2. Prepare cake batter accoridng to package instructions.
  3. Place batter in 2 9 inch round prepared baking pans.
  4. Bake and cool cake as directed on package.
  5. When cooled, place one whole 9 inch cake layer on serving tray, forming the bunny's head.
  6. Cut 2 convex shaped ears from each side of the second layer, place on each side of head to form ears.
  7. Use concave shaped piece for the bowtie.
  8. Frost entire bunny covering top and sides of bunny.
  9. Decorate the bunny as desired using assorted candies, coconut, nuts, and food coloring as desired!
