Stuffed Pepper Soup

    I used Classico tomato basil pasta sauce.


  1. 1 (8.8 oz) package ready to serve long grain and wild rice
  2. 1 lb ground beef
  3. 2 c chopped green pepper
  4. 1 c chopped onion
  5. 1 (24-26 oz) jar chunky tomato pasta sauce
  6. 1 (14.5 oz) Italian diced tomatoes, undrained
  7. 1 (14 oz) can beef broth


  1. In a large covered saucepan, saute beef, green peppers and onions, until meat is no longer pink; drain.
  2. Meanwhile, prepare rice according to package directions.
  3. To the saucepan, stir in the pasta sauce, tomatoes, broth, and prepared rice; heat through.
  4. Serve immediately.
