Ingredients

  1. 1 1/2 c whole farro
  2. 1 T salt

Instructions

  1. Bring 2 quarts water to boil in a large saucepan.
  2. Add farro and salt.
  3. Return to boil, reduce heat, and simmer until grains are tender with slight chew, 15 to 20 minutes.
  4. Drain well.
  5. Farro can be refrigerated for up to 5 days.
