Roasted Edamame

    I first had these at Iron Chef, Morimoto's restaurant! They are delicous!

    This recipe can easily be doubled. Be sure to serve with a bowl to place the pods in.

Ingredients

  1. 1 (12 oz) bag frozen edamame (soybeans) in their pods.
  2. 2 T olive oil
  3. sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Toss edamame with olive oil.
  3. Spread in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  4. Roast in the prehated oven, stirring halfway through, until edamame shells start to brown, about 20 minutes.
  5. Sprinkle with sea salt.
  6. Serve whole, popping beans out of the shell to eat.
