Skier's French Toast

    This is an easy French toast that can be made the night before, and baked in the morning!

    We like it best with Brioche Bread!


  1. 2 T white corn syrup
  2. 1/2 c butter
  3. 1 c brown sugar
  4. 5 eggs
  5. 1 1/2 c milk
  6. 1 t vanilla
  7. loaf of Brioche, Ciabatta Bread or French bread


  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Combine corn syrup, butter, and brown sugar in a 9x13 casserole dish.
  3. Place casserole dish in the oven until ingredients are melted, spread evenly on bottom of pan.
  4. In a medium bowl, whisk eggs.
  5. Add milk and vanilla to bowl, stir to combine.
  6. Cut bread into 1 inch slices.
  7. Dip bread into egg mixture, and place slices in casserole dish, on top of melted ingredients.
  8. Pour remaining egg mixture over top of bread.
  9. Refrigerate overnight, if desired.
  10. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes.
