Sweet Potato Baked Fries

    Make sure to handle the potatoes with a thin metal spatula in the oven. You need to loosen them carefully from the baking sheet so that the crusty exterior does not rip or stick to the pan.

    When sprinkling with spices consider sprinkling fries with a bit of corn starch, this will help the fries to crisp.


  1. olive oil for tossing
  2. 5 sweet potatoes, peeled and sliced into 1/4 in long slices, then 1/4 in wide strips, can use a crinkle cut knife
  3. 1/2 T salt
  4. 1/4 T pepper
  5. 1/4 T garlic powder
  6. 1/2 t paprika


  1. Preheat oven to 450°F.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment.
  3. In a large bowl toss sweet potatoes with just enough oil to coat.
  4. Sprinke with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  5. Spread sweet potatoes in single layer on prepared baking sheet, being sure not to overcrowd.
  6. Bake until sweet potatoes are tender and golden brown, turning occasionally, about 20 minutes.
  7. Let cool, 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
