  1. Crusty hoagie rolls, sliced in half
  2. Meats, sliced thin (select a few for variety)

  3. salami
  4. pepperoni
  5. ham, boiled, black forest, or Virginia
  6. hot ham
  7. capicola
  8. Cheese, sliced

  9. provolone
  10. Toppings

  11. lettuce, chopped
  12. tomatoes, sliced thin
  13. onion, sliced thin
  14. Marinated Bell Peppers
  15. Marinated Artichokes
  16. Marinated Mushrooms
  17. mayonnaise
  18. Italian dressing
  19. Penzey's Sandwich Sprinkle or dried oregano


  1. Preheat broiler
  2. Layer desired meats on the hoagie roll.
  3. Layer cheese on top of the meats.
  4. Place under the broiler, until meats are warmed and cheese begins to bubble and is slightly brown.
  5. Add desired toppings and serve warm.
