Hard Boiled Eggs

Pre-Notes

    To center the yolks in hard boiled eggs, place the egg carton on its side overnight in the refrigerator before boiling the eggs.

Ingredients

  1. desired amount of eggs
  2. ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Place eggs in a pot and cover with water. Cover pot and just bring to a boil. Remove from heat and allow eggs to sit in pot for 10 minutes.
  2. Remove eggs from pot and place in a bowl of ice water (this prevents a green ring from forming around the edge of the yolk). Allow eggs to sit in ice water for 10 minutes.
  3. Remove shells from eggs, dry off with a paper towel and serve.
