Hot Cocoa Pudding Mugs

Ingredients

    Pudding Mugs

  1. 2 1/2 c milk, divided
  2. 2 (1/4 oz) env Knox unflavored gelatin
  3. 2 oz bittersweet chocolate melted
  4. 1 (3.4 oz) pkg chocolate instant pudding mix
  5. 12 miniature pretzel twists, broken crosswise in half
  6. 1 1/2 c Cool Whip, thawed
  7. Liqueur Addition

  8. 1/4 c Cream de Cocoa or Peppermint Schnapps

Instructions

  1. Add 1 1/2 c milk to dry gelatin in small saucepan; stir.
  2. Let stand 3 minutes or until gelatin is softened.
  3. Cook and stir on medium heat 3 minutes or until gelatin is completely dissolved.
  4. Remove from heat; whisk in melted chocolate. Cool 5 minutes.
  5. Beat pudding mix and remaining 1 c milk in medium bowl with whisk 2 minutes.
  6. Whisk in gelatin mixture.
  7. Spoon into 24 shot glasses sprayed with cooking spray.
  8. Refrigerate 3 hours or until firm.
  9. Unmold desserts onto tray just before serving.
  10. Insert pretzel half into side of each for the mug handle.
  11. Top each with 1 T Cool Whip and a few marshmallow bits.
  12. Liqueur Addition

  13. Decrease milk to 2 1/4 c.
  14. Prepare pudding mix using 3/4 c milk and 1/4 c liqueur of choice.
