Nut Cups

Ingredients

    Dough

  1. 1/2 c unsalted butter, softened
  2. 3 oz cream cheese, softened
  3. 1 c flour
  4. Nut Filling

  5. 1 T melted butter
  6. 1 egg, slightly beaten
  7. 3/4 c brown sugar, packed
  8. 1/4 t salt
  9. 1/2 t vanilla
  10. 1 c chopped pecans, toasted

Instructions

    Dough

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix butter, cream cheese, and flour.
  3. Set aside.
  4. Nut Filling

  5. In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients, mix well.
  6. Cookies

  7. Place a small amount of dough into each hole of a mini-muffin pan. Press dough on the bottom and up the sides.
  8. Add 1 t nut filling to each dough shape.
  9. Bake at 350°F for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Remove from pan, cool on wire racks.
