Ingredients

    Cinnamon Sugar Coating

  1. 3 T sugar
  2. 2 1/4 t ground cinnamon
  3. Cookie

  4. 8 oz margarine, room temperature (2 sticks)
  5. 1 1/3 c sugar
  6. 2 eggs
  7. 3 c flour
  8. 1 1/2 t cream of tartar
  9. 1 t baking soda
  10. pinch of salt

Instructions

    Cinnamon Sugar Coating

  1. In a small bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon, set aside.
  2. Cookie

  3. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  4. In a large bowl beat together margarine and sugar until fluffy.
  5. Add eggs, mix well.
  6. In a medium bowl, combine, flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt, mix well.
  7. Add flour mixture to egg mixture, beat until blended.
  8. Shape dough into 1 inch balls.
  9. Roll in Cinnamon Sugar coating, cover completely.
  10. Place balls 2 1/2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets.
  11. Bake at 375°F 10 minutes or until golden.
  12. Remove cookies from baking sheets; cool on racks.
