Easy Creamy Fudge

  1. 4 1/2 c sugar
  2. 1 (13 oz) can evaporated milk
  3. 4 oz. unsalted butter, cut up (1 stick)
  4. 4 oz. margarine, cut up (1 stick)
  5. 6 oz butterscotch morsels
  6. 22 oz semi-sweet chocolate morsels
  7. 1 c chopped walnuts (optional)
  8. 3 T vanilla extract


  1. In a large pot, mix sugar and evaporated milk until sugar dissolves.
  2. Bring mixture to a full boil, cook 7 1/2 minutes, stirring constantly.
  3. In a large bowl, combine butter, margarine, butterscotch, chocolate morsels, nuts and vanilla, mix well.
  4. Pour milk mixture over the chocolate mixture, mix well.
  5. Pour into a greased 9x13 inch pan.
  6. Cool completely and then refrigerate until firm, about 4 hours.
  7. Cut into squares, keep refrigerated.
