Tuna Steaks with Avocado and Tomato

Ingredients

    Topping

  1. 3/4 c tomatoes, chopped
  2. 1/4 c onions, chopped
  3. 1/2 c ripe avocado, chopped
  4. 2 T fresh cilantro, chopped
  5. 1 jalapeno pepper, chopped
  6. Fish

  7. 2 T olive oil
  8. 2 T lime juice
  9. 1/2 t cumin
  10. 1/2 t salt
  11. 4 (8oz) fresh tuna steaks

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill.
  2. Topping

  3. In medium bowl, combine all topping ingredients; mix well. Refrigerate.
  4. Fish

  5. In small bowl; combine oil, lime juice, cumin and salt; blend well.
  6. When ready to grill, brush tuna steaks with oil mixture.
  7. To prevent fish from sticking, brush grill grate lightly with oil.
  8. Place tuna on grill over medium-high heat.
  9. Cook 9 to 12 minutes or until fish flakes easily with fork, turning once and brushing with remaining oil mixture.
  10. Serve with adocado topping.
