Bayou Shrimp- (Three Shrimp on a Stick)

    This is one of Natalie's favorites, she calls it 'Three Shrimp on a Stick'!

    If you don't have a grill, you can cook these on a skillet or cast iron skillet with a little olive oil!


  1. bamboo skewers
  2. 1 1/2 to 2 lbs shrimp, peeled, deveined, and rinsed
  3. 4 oz butter, (1 stick)
  4. 1 garlic clove, minced
  5. 1/4 c ketchup
  6. 1 t cayenne pepper
  7. 1 t black pepper
  8. 1 t dried thyme
  9. 1/4 t salt
  10. 2 t Worcestershire sauce


  1. Soak bamboo skewers in water for 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat grill.
  3. Skewer shrimp onto skewers.
  4. In a small pot, mix together butter, garlic, ketchup, cayenne pepper, black pepper, thyme, salt, and Worcestershire sauce.
  5. Cook over medium heat, until boiling.
  6. Reduce heat and simmer for 2 minutes.
  7. Allow sauce to cool slightly.
  8. Brush on to both sides of shrimp.
  9. Grill until shrimp are just cooked.
