Broccoli Rice Casserole

Ingredients

  1. 1/4 lb butter (1 stick)
  2. 2 (10 oz) pkg frozen chopped broccoli, thawed and drained
  3. 1 small onion, chopped
  4. 1 c rice, cooked to package directions
  5. 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of mushroom soup
  6. 1/2 c milk
  7. 8 oz Cheese Wiz

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In a large skillet, melt butter.
  3. Add onion, and saute until softened and lightly browned.
  4. Add cream of mushroom soup, milk and Cheese Wiz. Stir to combine; cook until heated through.
  5. In a large bowl, combine prepared rice, broccoli, and sauce mix.
  6. Place in a greased 9x13 inch casserole dish.
  7. Refrigerate until ready to bake.
  8. Bake at 350°F for 30 to 45 minutes.
