Chicken Breasts with Dijon Sauce

Ingredients

  1. 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  2. 1/2 t salt
  3. 1/2 t lemon pepper seasoning
  4. 2 T butter
  5. 1/2 c chicken broth, reduced sodium
  6. 1/2 c half-and-half
  7. 1 T flour
  8. 1 T Dijon mustard
  9. parlsey for garnish

Instructions

  1. Sprinkle chicken with salt and lemon pepper.
  2. Melt butter in skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken, cook 5 minutes on each side.
  3. Reduce heat, cover and cook chicken 10 more minutes until juice runs clear.
  4. Remove chicken to platter, cover to keep warm.
  5. Whisk together flour, broth, half-and-half, and mustard. Pour into skillet, cook over medium heat until smooth and bubbley.
  6. Spoon some sauce over chicken, serving additional sauce on the side.
  7. Garnish with parsley.
