Taco Dip

  1. 2 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
  2. 2 (8 oz) bottle Ortega Hot Taco Sauce
  3. 1/2 Iceberg lettuce head, chopped
  4. 1/4 c onion, diced or green onion
  5. 2 T black olives, finely chopped
  6. 5 plum tomatoes, diced and drained
  7. 2 c sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded (8 oz)
  8. tortilla chips or scoops


  1. In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese and taco sauce, beat with electric mixer until well blended.
  2. Spread into a shallow casserole dish or plate.
  3. Top with lettuce, onions, olives and tomatoes.
  4. Sprinkle with Cheddar cheese.
  5. Refrigerate until serving.
  6. Serve with tortilla chips
